2008 Finale

it's surprising how 2008 just breezes by with so many new experiences and inspiring travels. many things done. even more things said. all these have inevitably made me a learned person and i cannot deny that i have changed for the better.

New Year in Manchester. bleak. trying to recall what i did but to no avail. guess i stayed in doing nothing.

Elin arrived in Manchester and we celebrated her 22nd birthday! (gosh.. why is my hair like that?)

changed my hairstyle; traded my locks for a more youthful look (:

Han Ling's birthday dinner

seen many preserved bodies at Body Works and got grossed out by atherosclerosis

Frankfurt Frankfurt with Elin. nice food. nice place. not so nice people.

Geneva

with Qiheng, Han Ling and Ei Lin. check out the twin sausages.

Lyon

took a train from Geneva to Lyon. climbed all the way up the hill to see a cathedral only to find out that there is a tram which stops right outside the cathedral. wtd

Amsterdam

lovely place. will definitely consider going back!

for the second time love love love Italy. Venice particularly. will definitely go back.. but not in the near future.

Stockholm

there wasn't much going in Stockholm so we had to find ways to entertain ourselves. people there are so nice that they actually stop you to ask if you need help!

boring boring month. no pictures. start of the term. was trying to get used to my long days in the hospital.
