#1 nicotine - stimulant drug which gets you addicted

#2 tar - cancer causing and blocks your airways

#3 carbon monoxide - interferes with your cardiovascular system. makes your heart work harder!

it contains substances like arsenic used in poison and ammonia used in toilet cleaners. imagine how much toxic substance is inhaled in each breath. just look at the picture above. oh don't they look yummy? it's no wonder so many people are hooked on smoking!

Effects of smoking

high risk of heart diseases and cancer!
it could be a tumour in any part of your respiratory system! the scariest type is oral cancer.. ewww.. can see the lesion in the mouth and all.. ughh.. why la did i choose to be a dentist? *sigh*

smoking causes impotence, guys! haha. continue smoking if and disappoint your partner! hey now, what were you thinking? disappoint your partner because you're killing yourself slowly la.. and killing her at the same time.. so stop la if you love her.

makes me damn angry lo. what if a little kid were to walk beside him? then the poor kid will have a cig burn mark on the arm. and it's damn painful k? imprudent buffoons!

nowadays they have those sayings on cig packs.
here are a few examples:

"Smoking kills"

"Smoking when pregnant will harm your baby"

"U're an idiot for smoking" (hehe ok i made this one up)


anyway.. now.. instead of those written warnings,gruesome photos showing how deadly a habit smoking can be will be slapped on every cig packet sold in the UK. wohoho. these people are ingenious! this is to help encourage young people to cut down or quit altogether before they get addicted.
