fuh! am finally in Manchester now. my flight from Cork was delayed by an hour! arrived here at 0110. an hour and a half later than my expected arrival time. shish. dunno why it's like that every time i fly to manchester. *sigh* thank god i had richard branson to keep me entertained.
anyway.. elin came to pick me up from the airport. *melts* ^^
we took a bus from the airport to manchester city. went to Tai Wu, the most frequented chinese restaurant around here. it offers quite a number of good deals too! 50% off all dim sum from 1 to 4 pm. 30% off all ala carte dishes after midnite. well worth goin. opens till 3 am. (tai wu should be paying me for this advertorial! lol) qiheng joined us for supper. made finishing the food a more achievable task. hehe. after supper, elin and i made our way back to hers while qiheng went home alone. poor thing. hihi.
watched Ah Long Pte Ltd when we got home. it's a comedy with a touch of benevolence. definitely worth watching. just watch it and enjoy the farce!
halfway into the movie, we realised that the sky is getting bright. wth. it was 4 plus in the morning. haih. decided to sleep as elin has gotta wakey early to pack for her flight to copenhagen. last minute packing excites her apparently. thus the final hour packing.

so, am now still in manchester at qiheng's place! what we basically do everyday is eat and sleep. and eat more. and sleep more. this is so not helping for my plan to shed some weight before meeting my mom on tuesday. she's gonna go " mei, ni fei liao hor?? (mei, u've put on weight)" =.=

will be flying off to milan tomorrow. meeting mommy and wey on tuesday. can't wait! gonna travel around italy and few other countries in 8 days!!
