Your new room

i went to view your room today.

i was shopping in town today. went to Arndale to buy the guidebooks. bought 2; one for Rome and another for Venice. figured that we don't need a book for Milan. mostly shopping only. Stockholm leh, the book is not informative enough. so just look for info online will do la.

anyway, we were in town all afternoon. i sms-ed Donna to ask for her address but she didn't reply. so at 6.15 pm i called her for instructions on how to get to her place. told her that we're coming from the city center. she was so nice.. told us how to get there from Oxford Street. walk towards the AMC cinema. we walked from Arndale to Oxford Street towards AMC cinema, then we called her again. she told us it's a 15 min walk to her place. mentioned some bridge and don't know what la.

so we continued walking lo. until the end of Oxford Street. then we came to a bridge. but there were no buildings around. then we called here again. she told us her apartment is opposite Man Arena. so we started looking for Man Arena lo. it was past 7 pm already. on the way we asked a few people how to get there. finally after many lucky attempts, we found the Mirabel Street at 7.30 pm. fuh!


from here, we turned left into an alley.


and then we saw it!! Hallelujah! The building.. Tempus Building. that's the building on the left. gotta key in some code to enter the compound. so security is quite good.


then we went in.



walk towards the left and we came to the entrance of the Sorting Office, that's where your room is located. hehe. sorry ya flash too bright. cannot see the words on the "meng pai" ^^



the apartment is on the 1st floor. so no need to take lift or stairs. it looks really nice and clean. i don't know if she's always that clean or she cleaned up the place because people are coming to see it.

hehe i forgot to take pictures of the hall way. there's nothing much la. when u enter the main door, the stairs are on the left. the guest toilet on the right. in the middle is the living room cum kitchen.

that's all for the 1st floor. then we went upstairs to the bedroom. there are 4 doors. 2 on the left are the bedrooms; 1st door is Donna's room, 2nd door is yours. then right in front is a mini store room, where u can store some stuff. and on the right is the bathroom. didn't take a picture because it looks exactly like the one on the website.

then we entered your room. it has a single bed. don't think a double bed can fit inside lor. still got things because the girl has not moved out. she'll be moving out soon. so you'll be taking her room.


this is the table. not very big also. just nice for a laptop and a few files. and you cannot lay on bed and watch movie d. angle cacat. hehe. there's also an internal window. internal cause it opens into the living room downstairs. not outside. but you can also see outside through the living room window.

oh when we were there, there's also another guy viewing the place. she said there are a few people interested. so if you are, then faster place your deposit. but hor, Donna like quite kua sueh us lor. i think she feels that you cannot afford to pay the rent or something. quite stuck up la. sigh.

overall, the place looks nice. high class place la. not like student accommodations. but the room is quite narrow. not much room to walk about. the toilet is very nice though! like 5 star hotel. the whole apartment is carpeted with thick cream colored carpet. living room is nice too. you'll have to place to yourself most of the time because donna is busy working. which is good lor cos i don't really like her. kitchen is ok la. no comment. location, mmm, location you decide yourself k? i don't know if it's convenient enough for you. oh i got some more story to tell you. hehe. let me finish my summary first. i think for 450 pounds, the place is acceptable la. hihi. tell me what you think.

ok back to the juicy story i want to tell you. i said i called her at 6.15 rite, i started walking from Arndale to the place right after that. and i arrived at 7.30. that's 1 hour and 15 mins!!!
but guess what we saw when we arrived at Mirabel Street. hahah. ARNDALE!!!

apparently Arndale is only 5 mins from the apartment. wth! she cannot tell me earlier meh when i told her i'm in the city. shish. some more make me walk one big round and get lost so many times!! stupid stupid!!
