god damned alarm rang at 8am. scared me awake. if that's possible. yea i was indeed scared out of bed. that's for having an alarm clock which goes off like a fire alarm. i like it though. does the job.
did my usual just-out-of-bed routine. checked mails. read blogs. reply messages. new item today. download drama. hehe.
10 past 8 when i got into the shower. by the time i was dressed and ready, 8.35. gotta rush if i were to arrive in class before 9.
checked my timetable for my break time only to realise that class starts at 10 today. !@#$%

got up an hour too early!
arrived in class only to find out that there was an oral examination on the 4th of June. wth. shouldn't they post stuff like this on the web? thank god am not on the list.
*NOTE* OMG my final exam results will be out tomorrow at 1600 hrs GMT!!!! *fingers crossed* wish me luck!!!
anyways....
Dr. Hanke, my course coordinator, came into the class. bah i expected her to start teaching. then she started blabbering something about Dr. Burke, my lecturer. apparently, he's away and is unable to contact her till this morning to notify her of his absence!!!! !@#$%^&*&^%$#@! that's just plain imprudence. what can i say?
so i'm off for today and tomorrow. managed to settle my debit card issue at the bank. was then dragged to watch some crummy movie, Superhero. don't even bother watching please. it's not worth your time. it's a cheap cornucopia of Spiderman, Batman, The Incredibles, and many other superhero blockbusters.
dropped by at the gym today. after 4 months. no maybe 5. did the usual treadmill. i covered 1.97 km in 20 minutes. not very impressive. forgivable owing to the fact that it's been months since i ran like that. so wein deserves a round of applause ^^

Italy Day #6
Venice
considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. i heart heart heart venice!! it has been the shooting site for many movies, namely The Italian Job and Casino Royale.
something i deeply regret. scientists have estimated that the "city of water" will be gone in 80 years. this is because the land supporting venice is giving way. sinking a little each day. to make matters worse, the global warming has brought about the melting of arctic icebergs leading to the rise in sea level. today, many Venetians no longer live on the islands. many tend to their shops on the islands during the day, but travel back to the mainland after work.
nonetheless, do visit venice. you won't regret it.
next up: Gondola ride!
Gondola, the classical Venetian sculling boat. now mostly used for tourists, weddings and funerals.
so excited! my first gondola ride! prayed to get a cute Gondolianer ( oarsman). hehe. a gondolianer stands at the back of the gondola and pushes, rather than pulls a single gondola.
check it out
