Manchester. The closing chapter.

today is the final day for me at Manchester. final night. had my final dinner (pei mien/cup noodles). i was packing my stuff, i tell you it's so tiring!! Emirates has this strict 20kilo check in luggage policy due to many ah cha with many luggage. i hope the ground staff here serves better than those in Malaysia, prays they let me thru. i took out most of my clothes, and souvenirs. that means souvenirs will arrive late for some friends :) (wein and QH might faint looking at what i left behind)

my arrival! i remembered when i first see my studio i almost fainted. compared to what i have now, i am quite thankful to have what i had ^^ that month was difficult because it is the first time i leave home for such a long time but i was accompanied by great friends!


wein, check out our hair!! haha. after celebrating my birthday, i flew to Dublin to visit Jane! my first visit outside the UK. the trip was really nice with plenty of pancakes i will never forget!! ^^ yum!



thanks for bringing me around CJ!! ^^ hope we can do that again some day at different place :)

i think class started quite a while ago, that time i was always looking forward to classes, always bringing lunch box to school. i save quite some money. haha. first time ma. then comes the time to go Frankfurt!



trip to Frankfurt was fun, getting thru what's on the map looking high low for musuem and shopping streets. awed at high street brands but not buying them. eating and eating and eating.. remember?good fun...

April 08
this is one month away from exam, was i doing anything? lemme screen thru my pictures :) haha, i wasn't doing anything.. i think april was quite empty. it was mummy's birthday by the way, but i wasn't there.

May 08
the more eventful month. i went back end of the month. i went to london and copenhagen. both with sis, leaving Wein behind hihi. hey, she went italy when i went Copenhagen.




both trip was fun fun, but i think we took too little photos, unlike Frankfurt, 434 photos in 3 days =.=" camwhores. i will miss travelling with sis after i leave Manchester. sigh.

June 08 - Jul 08
back home. work my ass off! haha. it was a great experience to work, and it gives me a pre work feeling. it feels great for 2 months. wonder how 20 years feel like? ^^



then by mid july, we had party for aiwee, for her departure to Perth. after that, the day trip to Melaka with wein.


with that, we call it 2 months in Malaysia. *more photos coming up when wein & i are back in Malaysia with more plans!*

Aug 08 - Sept 08
i think this was the highlight of this year. the 11 days trip to Italy - Sweden. italy was quite well covered except we did not go to Florence. the trip was fun, although we always hilang diri especially at Venice. that place i tell you, QH came up with a very good suggestion, get a GPS!!! Venice is a beautiful place. although it is the most expensive, going there was definitely worthwhile.

life just pass by... ^^ i did make a trip to Cork. however, my external drive CRASHED!! wein does not have extra copy, i hope i can get it fixed when i go back to malaysia and save my pictures!!! oh ya!! i went london too!! the london bridge, trafalgar and buckingham. i will blog bout it later ^^ together with cork after i retrieve my photos*confidently i can retrieve my photos!!!*

EXAM!! stress stress! then a trip to london. went to Oxford street to do some browsing in hope to get some clothes. got some and bump into these "audiences".

here i am. going home. packed my clothes till my back ached for carrying the big suitcase up and down just to weigh it so Emirates don't try to suck my blood.

p/s: i flew with SIA before guess my luggage weight.















40 kgs. ^^ i passed with a sticker on my luggage; WARNING: EXTREMELY HEAVY. haha the sticker also show a man bending trying to carry the suitcase and broke his back kinda thing. haha. =.=" so kan chiong meh?

anyway, this whole year i have done so many things, saw so many things. learning from the ang mohs is my ultimate objective when i first came and i did. i saw the way they do things, how they learn, how they teach, how different are they from us. i believe if time is given, many countries will be like the UK too. not the currencyla, *note: when i first came it was 6.5 to a pound. now it is 5.3 to a pound. i save my parents some money! hahah.* i also learn the reason why the british were so powerful back then :)

to students going oversea: be ready! this is a lifetime experience.

to students staying in: you are contributing to the country's economy also doing a good job, travelling can wait ^^

to people like me: work harder, play harder and enjoy life like there is no tomorrow ^^ *can anyone tell me who is like me? :)*

finally, the many thanks to my family for support, friends for being there and air, for me to breathe!! hahah..
