Daylight saving time blunder

the clock was moved back an hour on Sunday at 2am, which meant that i have an extra hour in Manchester :)

it was a plus for me, until this morning on the way to the hospital, i noticed that the road was exceptionally quiet apart from a few cars, unlike the usual morning traffic. after walking for about 5 minutes, i glanced at my watch just to make sure that i was not running late. at first glance, it showed 7.25. continued walking (while thinking to myself, ok, not late). glanced again, oh shit! 7.25???!!??! checked my phone to make sure that i've got the right time.

then i realised that i forgot to set my alarm clock back by an hour! wth! no wonder i was uber sleepy this morning when the alarm went off. having 2 alarm clocks was not much of a help as both showed the wrong time, meaning both rang at the wrong time!

argh.. feel so silly now..

anyway, i turned around and walked home, went back to bed. patient called to cancel appointment this morning, which meant disappointment more time to sleep. slept till 9, then had to run to the hospital. hehe.
